• Of the 3 women, 3 have children in the school.

Of the 7 members
• 1 lives in Tuxedo Park
• 1 lives in the Woodlands
• 4 live in Eagle Valley
• 1 lives in the Hamlet

Of the 7 members
• 1 has a spouse that works full time within the school district and a strong vocal member of their union
• 1 has a spouse that works as a fill in for the above spouse
• 1 is a member of a sister teacher union

We need to raise questions and begin to look at the makeup of our Board of Education.

• Does our school district board reflect the actual demographic of the Tuxedo Union Free School District? We currently have approximately 237 students attending our school. At best we can project that this equals 237 households, we have approximately 1,500 households within our district. Is your household represented by this board?

• We have 2 members that have spouses working within our district. Are these members partaking in contract negotiations? If so, does this raise questions of ethics or conflicts of interest?

• It is extremely important to have families of students represented on the board. Last year 6 of the 7 members were student parents. This year 5 of the members are student parents. How are decisions being made reflective of the actual tax payer vs. student experience?
